Forever Cheese debuted in 1998 in order to meet the increasing
demand for Mediterranean products. Forever cheese focuses primarily on cheese
but is constantly evolving to include more specialty foods to better serve the
American market. Michele Buster and Pierluigi Sini spearhead the operation, and
they personally hand select each item directly from the producer.

Forever Cheese launched the brand Mitica to unify its product line. It is a
Latin word for mythic and a name which could be interchangeably Portuguese,
Italian or Spanish. It is also easy to pronounce, MIH-tih-kah, with the accent
on the first syllable.
